  Elizabeth Powell – Managing Attorney


ELIZABETH R. POWELL is the managing attorney for Washington Property Law.  Her practice focuses in landlord-tenant, real estate, trial litigation, and related areas of law to include appeals, bankruptcy, collection, family law, foreclosure, and probate issues.  Ms. Powell additionally lends her landlord-tenant expertise to other firms, including Washington Debt Law, where she assists as an of-counsel attorney.  She frequently teaches continuing education courses to other attorneys and is a contributing author on the Lexis-Nexus Practice Guide to Washington Real Estate Litigation on landlord-tenant matters.  Ms. Powell has successfully litigated cases from trial up to the Washington Supreme Court and has had her cases reported and published.

Ms. Powell is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, the Federal Western District of Washington Bar Association, the Bankruptcy Court of the Western District of Washington, the Puyallup Tribal Bar Association, the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association, and the creditor-debtor, family law, and probate sections of the State Bar.  Ms. Powell received her B.A. from Whitman College and her J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law.
